ForZe defeated Unique, and pro100 defeated ESPADA in the first matches of Group A of the WePlay online stage! Forge of Masters Season 2 by CS: GO. ForZe and pro100 will meet in the next round of the group stage, which will begin on October 2 at 18:00 Moscow time. The winner will go to the LAN finals of the tournament.

Online Stage WePlay! Forge of Masters Season 2 runs from October 1 to November 3. 24 teams from the CIS and Europe are playing eight slots at the LAN-finals of the championship, which will be held in Kiev. The final prize pool is $ 100 thousand.

Ladislav GuardiaN Kovacs:

“[After transferring to FaZe] I stopped feeling responsible for the result. I can do what I want because I know that even if I die without killing, my teammates will cover up my mistake. I always know that they will support me. <…> I finally got fun playing Counter-Strike again! ”

However, happiness did not last long. Freed from metaphorical shackles, GuardiaN helped FaZe win two major tournaments in a month and earn $ 650 thousand. But then the club did not have a black but a silver streak – the team went to the finals over and over again, but could not win. The most offensive was the defeat in the grand final of the major: FaZe lost the victory to Cloud9 – the roster, which immediately after the tournament almost sunk into the abyss.

After another defeat in the grand finals, where Kovac won the round 1v5, they began to write in the comments: “It’s a pity, he does everything possible, but still does not win.” Probably, such a thought crept into the head of the Slovak too.

In the course of 2019, GuardiaN again began to give more gloomy interviews. In February, he noted that the team had communication problems: “At first everything was fine, but now something happened. I don’t know what – we just started screaming, we lost our peace (laughs). We need to deal with this. ” And before StarLadder Berlin Major 2019, he already looked frankly uninterested in the fate of the club:
