Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has updated the record for the number of players in 2019

On October 6th, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive played 736,095 people at the same time. This was the record for the game in 2019. Information about this appeared on the statistics page on Steam.

Given these pretty good improvements for old cards, it’s very difficult to understand why the “new” mode and new cards in general are so boring and mediocre. In general, half of the 16 maps are new, but they are all blocked for an arms race (which is a remake of the GunGame mod made by fans) and destruction modes (the same GunGame, but without insta respawn and with bomb damage).

After fifty hours, these mods, by the way, can be closed by “Valve”. They usually coped with their games cool – Scavenge in Left 4 Dead 2 or Payload in Team Fortress 2 are examples of this. However, this is clearly not the case. Mods for GO look very boring, safe, unprocessed, as if the developers ran out of imagination. We have already seen all this. But it would be great to look at the redesigned VIP mode. Yes, of course, this is a headache – if the VIP does not know how to play, then he will be hated forever, risky. But it would be just insanely to look at it with modern graphics!
