CS: GO fan helped ban 14 thousand cheaters using homemade AI

A fan of CS: GO 2Eggs created the artificial intelligence HestiaNet, which helped Valve block more than 14 thousand cheaters. The program learns itself, and its effectiveness is 98%.

Winning the “Arms Race” can only be done by killing the enemy with a special “golden knife”. The second novelty is “Destruction of the Object”. This is a two-minute blitzkrieg for two teams. One is trying to blow up a key point, and the other is hindering it. Zavarushki pass on ma-a-akhon cards, where there are a lot of ducks and “camper” positions. These locations are painfully similar to network cards from Modern Warfare. And in terms of dynamics, the action looks like Domination mode from Unreal Tournament. Only the control point on the map is only one – each team must get to it first and keep it.

Even in Global Offensive (for the first time in CS), a training mode appeared. Instructions teaches how to use bombs, how to shoot through shelters and how to quickly switch between a gun and a machine gun. One confused: weapons course and in The obstacle course features strongly remind you of the same Modern Warfare. A tribute to fashion, not otherwise.
