CSGO: The game offers a coup of young with panorama UI

Just 19 years ago, Valve released a game called Counter-Strike. On the occasion of the anniversary of this famous license, the developers of the last iteration of the series have just announced the arrival of the highly anticipated Panorama UI. ALSO READ

CSGO: Fnatic completes new Counter-Strike team: Global Offensive made its debut on players’ computers in 2006 to replace Counter-Strike: Source. Since that date, the game’s interface has never really changed, except for a few minor changes made during major updates or events. But this time, on the occasion of the 19 years of existence of the brand, the developers have decided to give a boost to the low-cost graphics currently in place.

Thus, since Tuesday night, it is possible to download, via the beta system of the game, the Panorama UI interface. This update brings important changes to the menu design, separating from all the codes set up in the past for a Nuke-colored background, topped by two vertical menus on the left and right side of the interface where placed, side by side, a list of the latest news of the official blog and a skin of the game. Of course, the shortcuts to the store have been kept and placed on the lower part of this new interface.

All the pages of the menu have of course been reviewed with this new interface. Thus, the system of creation of parts has been completely reworked and clarified. In addition, the preview of the skins has been modified from start to finish, releasing the old locker protected by bars by a full screen display where it will even be possible to see the weapon carried by a terrorist or an anti-terrorist.

The in-game interface has also been redesigned. For example, the selection of a group is now much more graphic, the scoreboard has been clarified and the interface blocks that could appear at different times of the parties have been put to the tastes of the day with, always, the same vertical and transparent menu.

Criticized by some, appreciated by others, this new interface will still clarify some features of the game that could be inconsistent or complicated for neophytes. Moreover, as many fans of the game report, such a significant change in CS: GO is a clear sign that Valve plans to continue working on one of its flagship licenses.

If you want to take advantage of this new presentation, it is available via beta system. To add it, go to your Steam library, right click on your CS: GO game, go to the “BETAS” tab and select the beta program: “Panorama – Panorama UI Preview”. An update adding the Panorama UI will then be downloaded and available at the next start of your game.
