DreamEaters captain responded to club head and accused him of unprofessionalism

The captain of the DreamEaters CS: GO squad Svyatoslav svyat Dovbakh told what problems the team faced in working with the organization. In a commentary for insider Alexei OverDrive Biryukov, he accused the club leader of unprofessionalism and backed up his words with several examples.

One of the main problems svyat called constant delays in prize payments. According to Dovbach, DreamEaters CEO Anton Nagval Vinogradov spent the money earned by the team on salaries to management, but did not give money to the players:

Svyatoslav svyat Dovbach:

“It all started with delays in paying salaries. <…> For more than 3 months we have been waiting for our salaries and fed on promises that they will be paid. You can say a lot of interesting things about the prizes, but they were paid there for a very, very long time, being already on his accounts. We asked to pay at least the prize, since there are no salaries, but he constantly dodged the answer and did not throw off money to us. Then we learned that the entire organization staff receives their salaries. <…> It became obvious that this money from the prize went to the maintenance of his orgy. Of course, they were paid to us six months later, but you understood the essence. ”

Svyat noted that Vinogradov repeatedly refused to help the staff. Players sometimes had to buy return tickets for their money on their own, as the CEO had a day off, or wait for flights with cheaper seats. Dovbah also stated that Nagval overestimated the transfer amount when a European organization wanted to buy the team:

Svyatoslav svyat Dovbach:

“At that time (and this was even before the minor), a European organization became interested in us and instead of selling us, making money and paying off his debt to us, he won over the transfer amount of $ 300k to them … Moreover, according to him “He was ready to give us all for free, if only we would get salaries and in general he would do everything for the players …”

The captain of DreamEaters also listed a number of points in which, in his opinion, the head of the club showed unprofessionalism. He remembered how Nagval forgot to bring the players’ uniforms to bootcamp, did not write to potential sponsors for contacts from the coach and manager, and also did not give out personal copies of contracts for more than six months.

In addition, svyat said that the team did not initially agree with the management on the transfer of monitors for salary. He added that Nagval demanded a share of the sale of stickers only after the collective entered the major, although he had previously abandoned it in favor of the players. Then the organization paid off most of the debts.

Svyatoslav svyat Dovbach:

“The total that we have:

1) Contractual obligations are not fulfilled (long-term delays in the payment of salaries + salary 5 months ago has not yet been paid)

2) Negative relationship between organization and team

3) Dismissal of a coach after successful results in a major, contrary to the opinion of the team. ”

Svyat said that the team had not complained about salary delays for a long time, and before the major decided to stay in the organization to make sure that the debts were paid. At the moment, players are ready to give up their money in order to quickly stop working with DreamEaters.

Earlier, Vinogradov said that the team or organization that signs it must pay off the debt to the club. He noted that DreamEaters has invested in a certain amount, which in this situation needs to be compensated. His comment can be read here.

The current DreamEaters team was formed in May 2018 – in December Svyatoslav svyat Dovbakh joined the team. The team performed in online tournaments and local LAN championships. The team took third place in the minor before StarLadder Berlin Major 2019, after which it went through the Play-In stage and made its way to the group stage of the major. There, the roster shared the 15-16th place with Ninjas in Pajamas.
