ESL forbids players to commit suicide in CS: GO

Intel Extreme Masters organizers unveiled new rules for their CS: GO tournaments. Now players are forbidden to commit suicide in order to prevent opponents from making money for frag.

The rule prohibits using the console command / kill or jumping outside the map (for example, on Vertigo). Nothing is said about the suicide from grenades.

ESL also added Vertigo instead of Cache to the championship map and forbade the announcement of the selected cards before the organizer did it on the official broadcast. Now, a penalty is also punished by joining the wrong team on the server.

The next Intel Extreme Masters tournament will be held in Beijing from November 7 to 10. Eight teams will play a prize fund of $ 250 thousand.
