Six Australians arrested on suspicion of match-fixing CS:GO

Police arrested six people in connection with suspicious activity in the organization of e-sport matches Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The investigation began in March of 2019 after the betting Agency said that some players bet on their matches, and then we lose. Authorities have documented at least five matches, and that has affected more than 20 rates.

Earlier this month, detectives from the unit dealing with sports, searched five residential facilities, which led to the arrest of six men from 19 to 22 years. Young people were interviewed about the crime and released at the time of further investigation and its outcome.

e-sports is a growing sports industry, and with its popularity comes the demand for the availability of bets on tournaments and matches. It is important that the police and the gaming and betting companies continue to work together to identify any suspicious activities.
