The role of personalities – Counter-Strike: Global Offensive set a record after starting the operation Shattered Network

On November 18 this year, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, a network shooter, launched the operation “Broken Network”, in which the game added skins for the characters, as well as new cosmetics, maps and modes. Innovation seems to have come to taste.

Source and GO have been separated for eight years. Valve had plenty of time to weigh, comprehend and craft a sane remake in which everything would be right. And therefore, the basic concept in GO has not moved even a millimeter: two teams of five (or more) people, “villains” and fighters against terrorism. Fight to the last survivor. Terrorists are mainly entertained by undermining key points and holding hostages, while the “good forces” of the hostages are trying to free, and the bomb and its owners to be neutralized. And by no means the other way around.

The secret of Counter-Strike’s popularity lies in its simplicity (although there is always room for honing skills), so it would be foolish to expect skills, leveling and manned vehicles in GO. Purchased weapons at the beginning of the round and run, sieve the enemies – much easier! Even there is no aiming mode by right-clicking: we shoot on the move, in the old fashioned way.
