Valve has banned the sale and exchange of keys for cases in CS: GO

On the night of October 29, Valve released a patch for CS: GO, which forbade the sale or exchange of keys for cases. This rule does not apply to those keys that were in the account inventory before the update was released. Non-transferable will be only new keys.

According to the developers, they limited the transfer of keys on the Marketplace to counter fraudsters involved in their resale and money laundering. For most players who buy and use keys as intended, the new rule will not change anything.

Along with the restriction on the transfer of keys, the developers also updated the localization files and fixed several bugs in the “Restricted area” mode.
